Crown Point -- Saint Anthony Medical Center continues to grow with is recent opening of physician offices and ultrasound services, stated David F. Ruskowski, president.
A blessing and VIP Open House was held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2008. A Public Open House is scheduled for Sunday, October 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. Health Screenings, raffle prizes, giveaways and refreshments will be available to the public.
Saint Anthony – Broadway is the third new development for Saint Anthony in the past two years. Others included Saint Anthony- St. John in St. John and the new 81 acre health complex on Rt. 231.
Saint Anthony – Broadway is located at 9470 Broadway and offers physician services in obstetrics & gynecology and pediatrics. Physicians include P. Andrew Waran, M.D. and Timothy Wiess, M.D., obstetrics & gynecology; and Hemendra Parikh, M.D., and Thomas Slayton, M.D., pediatrics.
The facility will also offer ultrasound and lab services.
“Saint Anthony is growing as the community grows,” said Ruskowski. “We see a need to offer our physicians and services in expanding and convenient locations,” he added.
Saint Anthony Medical Center opened its doors on March 1, 1974. In 2009 it will be celebrating its 35th anniversary providing high quality compassionate care.
