Filling the Shelves with Nutritional Charity

Members of the Imaging/Radiology unit at Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Crown Point collected food items recently as a service project during National Radiologic Technology Week and presented the donations to St. Clare Health Clinic's food pantry Nov. 14.

Shown, from left, are Julie Mallers, nurse practitioner/clinic manager; Tiffany O'Day, radiology unit clinical instructor; and Stojan Trajkovski, radiology unit nuclear medicine technician.

Donations may be brought to the clinic, 1121 S. Indiana Ave., between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Franciscan St. Anthony Health's Prenatal Assistance Program, which is located at St. Clare, is in need of diapers, formula, baby items and new or gently used clothing, sizes newborn through 3T. The program likewise provides free assistance to needy area residents.
